Lemongrass & Poppy Seed Goat Milk Soap
Lemongrass & Poppy Seed is an uplifting, citrusy bar made with hand-milked goat’s milk and poppy seeds for a nice, natural exfoliation. The fragrance comes from 100% pure and natural lemongrass essential oil. Feel the difference from the creamy goat milk, shea butter and 3 types of oils carefully blended to make a great experience whether you use it in the shower or on your hands.
Each bar is on average 4 oz in weight and may appear different than the photos you see. This soap is made in small batches, hand-cut, and poppy seeds are mixed throughout. Filthy Goat Soaps aim to be as natural as possible, and as such they have a more rustic appearance than what you will find at the super market. You can also trust (and pronounce) the real ingredients.
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, raw goat milk, shea butter, sodium hydroxide*, castor oil, lemongrass essential oil, poppy seeds.
*What is sodium hydroxide? I thought your soap was made of only natural ingredients? — Sodium hydroxide is lye which is the ingredient that induces the reaction that turns the oils and other ingredients into soap. The process is known as “saponification” and when it is complete there is no lye remaining in the finished product. That is why you can rest assured that the Filthy Goat Soap you hold in your hand is made up of natural ingredients.
